Artist and Artistic Director
Justine Coquidé is an Artistic Director, contemporary artist and founder of the brand This Is Art. A passionate artist, she has developed over the years a unique digital collage technique, which has become her signature.
Through this unique approach, Justine creates original, colorful, and socially conscious works where the past engages in a dialogue with the present. Each creation is born from meticulous research, cutting, and assembling images from fashion magazines, newspapers, and stock photo libraries. Nothing is left to chance: every detail is carefully considered to resonate perfectly with the original artwork.
Her work consists of reinterpreting classical masterpieces by offering them a contemporary, bold, and symbolic version—a truly augmented work, imbued with meaning and emotion. Through her collages, she questions history, femininity, identity, and aesthetic and societal codes, while making art accessible and vibrant.
With This Is Art, Justine Coquidé places her universe at the crossroads of art, fashion and contemporary culture, affirming a vision where art transcends time, reinvents itself and continues to tell the story of our era.

This is Art is first and foremost a French family business with a local focus. Every product is designed and made in Roubaix. Every supplier is located within 100km of our workshop. This expertise guarantees the quality of each product.
