The Touquet diving board 🤿🩱
The swimming pool at Le Touquet-Paris-Plage was located on the promenade, opposite Rue Saint-Jean. During World War II, in October 1943, the Germans destroyed the pool's diving board. It was rebuilt in 1949 by the architect Louis Quételart, becoming a symbol of Le Touquet-Paris-Plage's revival. All the children were able to enjoy this pool.
The swimming pool was demolished in the 1980s to make way in 1985 for a water park, Aqualud, which retained only the diving board by the architect Louis Quételart.
