 What a story! 🎨

 Dating back to 120 BC, the Venus de Milo was discovered in the spring of 1820 in the Cyclades archipelago in Greece, on the island of Milos. A true symbol of femininity, the marble statue represents Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty. It was through multiple fragmented faces, created using a collage technique, that it was reconstructed and rediscovered.
 The holes in the statue's arms prove that it was adorned at the time with real jewelry... bracelets, earrings and even headbands in the hair.
 Today, she is once again adorned with her former jewels, exuding an unbridled confidence. The famous Venus transcends generations, more powerful and robust than ever. Now on display at the Louvre in Paris, the statue continues to fascinate. Nine years ago, the feminist association Femen protested against violence against women at the foot of the Venus. As a tribute to the movement and this courageous action, I also wanted to represent, through my collage, the multitude of women victims who rise up and fight their oppressors with strength and honor.

 Discover the powerful symbols of the goddess of love and beauty in a cushion entirely dedicated to her. The cushion's softness and pearly color echo her birth. Venus was born from the sea foam under a shower of droplets that crystallized into pearls. The presence of the dove, another attribute of the goddess, embodies peace, love, and fidelity. Today, the goddess of beauty expresses her moral demands through her body.
