What a story! 🎨
The Lille Opera House, conceived by Louis-Marie Cordonnier after the fire that destroyed the old opera house in 1903, was built between 1907 and 1913 in a neoclassical style. Its majestic façade, adorned with allegorical sculptures by Hippolyte Lefèbvre, Alphonse-Amédée Cordonnier, and Hector Lemaire, pays homage to music, poetry, and the operatic arts. Occupied by the Germans during the First World War while it was still under construction, the building was not inaugurated until 1923. Through her collage, Justine Coquidé revisits this emblematic monument by associating it with powerful symbols of culture and emotion: a score of the Hymn to Love, a universal song of passion, red roses, emblems of lyricism and intensity, the silhouette of Maria Callas, an absolute icon of operatic art, and the contrast of black and white, evoking both the timeless elegance of the stage and the keys of a piano.

RETURNS
We guarantee a 15-day return policy. If you are not satisfied, you have 15 days to return your product, provided the poster or frame is in its original packaging. If a poster or frame is damaged upon arrival, a claim must be made (if possible) within 7 days of receipt.
