 Keith Haring was an American artist, painter, and sculptor known for his graffiti and large-scale, colorful murals. Haring was often associated with Jean-Michel Basquiat, whom he knew well, as well as Warhol. His works were first created on the walls of New York City and later exhibited in American and international galleries and museums. He developed his own style with graphic lines, blending Pop Art, graffiti, and expressionism. His creativity was boundless; he worked with various media and techniques, including paint, acrylics, ink, canvas, metal, paper, and even wood. His goal was to make art accessible to the general public. Behind the cheerfulness of his images, he conveyed powerful social and political messages: he denounced the ills and scourges of his time, such as racism, drugs, sex, power, money, and AIDS. He ultimately died at the age of 31. Today This is Art pays tribute to this man who knew how to create his own Art of living, "the art of being me" - a quote worthy of his work.
