Rosenquist inspiration
50x50cm cushion - limited edition
A leading figure of Pop Art, James Rosenquist was a multidisciplinary American artist. Influenced by his work as a commercial painter, he created monumental and highly colorful canvases reminiscent of the 4:3 billboards of major cities. He defined his works as "fragments of reality." His collages were mostly taken from advertisements for tobacco, cars, or beverages. The artist enjoyed playing with the codes of his generation, staging gender stereotypes in advertising. The artist Justine Coquidé pays homage to him by recreating the key elements of advertising that James Rosenquist so loved to play with. We can see the very masculine American car, the luscious red lips representing glamour and femininity. Through this unique cushion, rediscover the essence of this cultural movement of the 1960s.

Keith Haring was an American artist, painter, and sculptor known for his graffiti and large-scale, colorful murals. Haring was often associated with Jean-Michel Basquiat, whom he knew well, as well as Warhol. His works were first created on the walls of New York City and later exhibited in American and international galleries and museums. He developed his own style, characterized by graphic lines that blended Pop Art, graffiti, and Expressionism.
Keith Haring inspiration
cushion 40x70cm - limited edition
His creativity was boundless; he worked across various media and techniques, including paint, acrylics, ink, canvases, metal, paper, and even wood. His goal: to make art accessible to the general public. Behind the cheerfulness of his images, he conveyed powerful social and political messages: he denounced the ills and scourges of his time, such as racism, drugs, sex, power, money, and AIDS. He tragically died at the age of 31. Today, This is Art pays tribute to this man who created his own art of living, "the art of being me," a quote worthy of his work.
